The Visayas Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Program (ViCARP) joined the Office of the Research Innovation and Extension (ORIE) Fair 2025 at the Leyte Normal University, Tacloban City on March 05, 2025.
LNU ORIE Exhibition is one of the highlights during its celebration of the 104th founding anniversary. It showcased the innovative products and services from the different government agencies, and SUCs of Eastern Visayas.
The exhibit was successfully launched with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony done by the Leyte Normal University (LNU) President, Dr. Evelyn E. Aguirre, together with the stakeholders including Ms. Elmera Y. Bañoc as a representative from VSU-ViCARP.
The team exhibited the products from the National Coconut Research Center-Visayas (NCRC-V), National Abaca Research Center (NARC) and some innovative root crop products from PhilRootcrops.
Furthermore, Ms. Bañoc participated in the afternoon forum and successfully presented to the guests and visitors the topic on “Fostering Regional Collaboration: VSU-ViCARP Initiatives”. Included in her presentation the collaborative way in attaining excellence with impact in the AANR sector.
