The Visayas Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Program (ViCARP) has been granted accreditation as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Provider by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) through the CPD Council of Agriculture, marking a milestone in the Consortium’s continuing efforts to support professional development in the agriculture sector.
ViCARP was awarded a Certificate of Accreditation under Accreditation No. AGR-2026-060 on June 25, 2026. The accreditation is valid until June 24, 2029.
The accreditation recognizes ViCARP's capacity to serve as a CPD provider and further strengthens its role in facilitating learning and professional development opportunities related to agriculture and allied fields.
As a regional consortium working with its member institutions and partners in agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources, ViCARP conducts and supports various activities involving research and development, knowledge sharing, training, extension, and capacity building. The CPD accreditation provides an additional avenue for the Consortium to contribute to the continuing professional growth of professionals in its areas of engagement.
The accreditation also complements ViCARP’s efforts to strengthen collaboration among its Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs) and other stakeholders by creating opportunities for relevant professional learning activities.
